Jaime Chanaga is founder and CEO of The CSO Board, a management consulting firm dedicated to helping leaders and organizations solve critical strategic issues and make lasting substantial improvements in their performance.
Prior to this, Mr. Chanaga served as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the healthcare industry where he was responsible for the security and privacy of the electronic medical records of over 2.5 million hospital and medical insurance patients. For his leadership, the healthcare system he served was recognized with an InfoWorld Top 100 Award for secure medical records.
For more than a decade, Jaime has consulted to leading organizations in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the United Kingdom, on a wide range of issues on strategy, technology, and business. Jaime has been priviledged to consult and work for clients such as Ameritech, Lucent Technologies, OAG.com, CA.com, the American Medical Association, and other leading organizations.
Today Jaime serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for SC Magazine and boards for other innovative companies and is a proud member of the InfraGard ®, a partnership between the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and private industry focused on matters related to counterterrorism, cyber crime and other major anti-crime programs.
His writing includes collaboration as a co-author of the book “Corporate Security in the Information Age”. Mr. Chanaga is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
